Mural de la Mujer de Anceu

Esta intervención nace como continuación y diálogo con un mural previo realizado meses antes en la misma zona, un mural que fue resignificado por los propios vecinos como un símbolo vivo del pueblo.
Ubicado en las paredes del depósito municipal, el mural representa la figura de una mujer que contempla atenta el valle donde se encuentra Anceu. Su mirada es cuidadosa, vigilante y protectora, encarnando el espíritu de quienes han velado por esta tierra a lo largo del tiempo.
Este homenaje visual está dedicado a todas las mujeres que, en tiempos de emigración masiva, cuidaron de Anceu con dedicación y sacrificio, así como a aquellas que continúan sosteniendo el pueblo con su presencia y esfuerzo cotidiano.
La obra busca reflejar el vínculo profundo entre las mujeres y su comunidad, resaltando su papel esencial en la memoria, la identidad y la vida diaria del lugar.
The Anceu´s Woman Mural

This intervention was born as a continuation and dialogue with a previous mural created months earlier in the same area, a mural that was redefined by the residents themselves as a living symbol of the town.
Located on the walls of the municipal depot, the mural depicts the figure of a woman attentively contemplating the valley where Anceu is located. Her gaze is careful, vigilant, and protective, embodying the spirit of those who have watched over this land throughout time.
This visual tribute is dedicated to all the women who, during times of mass emigration, cared for Anceu with dedication and sacrifice, as well as to those who continue to sustain the town with their presence and daily efforts.
The work seeks to reflect the deep bond between women and their community, highlighting their essential role in the memory, identity, and daily life of the place.
