En 2016 recibí la propuesta de intervenir con pintura mural el interior y exterior de Andén 47, un espacio cultural y de danza ubicado en una antigua nave industrial de Valladolid. El proyecto formaba parte de la transformación integral del edificio, concebido no solo como lugar de ensayo y formación en danza, sino también como un centro activo de actividades culturales, eventos, talleres y acciones urbanas vinculadas al arte contemporáneo.
La intervención mural tuvo como eje principal generar un vínculo visual y conceptual con la vida que iba a tener lugar en el espacio: danza, movimiento, música, encuentros, venta de obra gráfica y otras actividades que iban a llenar de energía el entorno. La pintura no solo debía decorar, sino anticipar y amplificar lo que allí sucedería.

In 2016, I was invited to create a series of murals for the interior and exterior of Andén 47, a cultural and dance space housed in a former industrial building in Valladolid. The project was part of a larger renovation that aimed to transform the venue into a dynamic hub for dance training, cultural activities, workshops, events, and contemporary art projects throughout the city.
The main goal of the mural intervention was to visually and conceptually connect the painted surfaces with the energy of the space and what would later unfold there: dance, music, events, graphic art sales, and more. The mural wasn’t just meant to decorate — it was intended to echo and amplify the life and movement that the space would host.
Durante un mes, trabajé intensamente en las distintas zonas del edificio, acompañado por el equipo de Andén 47 y por el arquitecto responsable de la reforma, Julio Garcés, con quien compartí ideas, referencias y muchas conversaciones inspiradoras. La colaboración fue cercana y estimulante, y el proceso de trabajo —colectivo y atento al contexto— fue tan importante como el resultado final.
Guardo un recuerdo muy especial de aquellos días por haber podido dejar una huella artística en un espacio vivo y en constante transformación.
Over the course of a month, I worked across various areas of the building, accompanied by the Andén 47 team and the architect leading the renovation, Julio Garcés. We shared ideas, references, and a collaborative spirit that shaped the project deeply. The creative process — rooted in dialogue and attention to context — became just as meaningful as the final result.
I look back on those days with great affection: for the artistic freedom, the human connections, and the chance to leave a mark on a space that continues to evolve and vibrate with activity.
