Para el documental “Las Paredes Hablan” de Carlos Saura. Estrenada en el Festival de Cine de San Sebastian el 21 de septiembre de 2022.
Dibujé este bisonte para el documental para representar simbolicamente lo primitivo, como animal poderoso y totemico que también dibujaban nuestros antepasados en paredes de cuevas.
Creo que aunque tenemos ideas y teorías de por qué se pintaban las cuevas y por qué se representaban animales, creo que lo más acertado es hablar de la necesidad de expresar sentimientos y emociones grá camente para comunicarse, ya que en la actualidad ocurre lo mismo.
El dibujo contiene más pureza que la palabra y los murales en paredes son como pantallas de cine.

I drew this bison for the documentary to symbolically represent the primitive, as a powerful and totemic animal that our ancestors also drew on cave walls.
I think that although we have ideas and theories about why caves were painted and why animals were represented, I think the most accurate thing is to talk about the need to express feelings and emotions graphically to communicate, since the same thing happens today.
The drawing contains more purity than the word and the murals on the walls are like movie screens.
